The Place is one of the oldest Pizza and Steakhouse restaurants in N.W. Calgary. It has been proudly serving Bowness and Montgomery since 1974. The Place is a family restaurant with big cozy booths that offer privacy even when busy and a center area that can accommodate up to 15 people.
The Place was purchased April 2010, by two long time employees Paul and Hassan. Paul is a lifetime area resident who, besides working at The Place since 1996, has worked exclusively at several Bowmont restaurants.
Hassan, who has owned a couple of popular city restaurants, came to The Place when the cook's job became available in 1996; he has never left. Paul and Hassan each bring over 30 years' experience to The Place.
